Engagement Photos: State Fair

It was love at third sight for soon-to-be-married pair Megan and Mitch. The first few times they met, through mutual friends, left a sour impression for both parties. By the third meeting though, Megan and Mitch couldn't stop talking, which eventually resulted in a proposal on a foggy and drizzling night while out for a walk with their new puppy. (Though, admittedly, when Megan first saw Mitch starting to kneel, her first reaction was, "Mitch, what are you doing? You're going to get your pants dirty and I just washed those!")
For their engagement photos, Brittany Parker of Hanle Productions captured the playful pair at the State Fair (the creme puffs! the snow cones!). Megan and Mitch are marrying October 1st, with the ceremony at Calvary Presbyterian Church and the reception at the Wisconsin Club. We can't wait to see the photos from this wedding: Megan's bridesmaids will be wearing shorter patterned dresses with fuscia petticoats and instead of flowers, the bouquets will be made out of feathers. Megan is also collaborating with a Chicago-based designer to construct her vintage-inspired gown with hints of a Queen Elizabeth era. Congrats to the couple! See more of their photos here and here
