What is the capacity of your reception location?

Swig’s private event space is located on the 2nd floor of our cream city brick building and is divided into two rooms. The Roasting Room can hold up to 60 guests for a seated reception or 125 for a mix & mingle-style reception. The Broadway Room can hold up to 24 guests for a seated dinner.

What is the rental cost?

Our room rental pricing varies by day of week and time of day but ranges from $150 - $2,500+. Please consider that a 20% service charge & tax are added to the final bill.

Am I required to use your food, beverages, and serving attendants?

Yes.

What is your cake cutting fee?

$1.50 per person.

What is your closing time?

Event dependent.

Is there adequate parking available?

There is metered street parking throughout the Third Ward, which is free on evenings & weekends, plus several parking structures within one block of our restaurant. Additionally, we can recommend a valet parking service company, if needed.

Do you have a PA system?

There is a stereo available for use, but Swig does not have an in-house microphone. We are happy to coordinate any additional equipment rentals for our guests.

Do you have overnight accommodations?

Swig does not offer overnight accommodations but there are several hotels within a few blocks of our restaurant, including across the street.

Do you have space for doing a ceremony?

We do. We’ve hosted small ceremonies in the Roasting Room then flipped to dining during cocktail hour.

Is there anything else you would like me to know?

Our private event spaces are the perfect setting for rehearsal dinners, showers and small wedding receptions. Please note that handicap access is very limited due to the historic nature of the building.
