Katie + Ian: Stately Church Wedding at St. Mary's

Real Wedding

Both coming from a musical background, Katie and Ian’s wedding day was centered around choirs and live bands. The couple met at the Wisconsin Music Educator’s Convention (even though they’d actually lived in the same apartment building without knowing it!). Ian used antique family jewels to create Katie’s custom engagement ring. The bride’s delicate fit and flare lace gown was customized by her mother, who added detailed eyelash lace trim. Katie’s cathedral veil (also made by her mother) was the perfect touch to the classic ceremony held in an old Catholic church. As the couple loved music so much, they created a choir of twenty friends to sing at their wedding, as well as a brass quintet, harpist and violinist. After the dignified ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour accompanied by a live jazz band, followed by a delicious dinner. The night ended with everyone dancing to a ten-piece live band - the perfect ending to a musical day.
