There's no arguing that floral crowns are a hot headpiece for boho chic brides, but these beautiful blooms don't have to be just for the big day. When Kelli and Bobby wanted outdoor engagement photos that incorporated water, Kristina Lorraine Photography found the perfect hidden creek and contacted fellow local vendor, Fronteir Flowers of Fontana for the crowning detail. Complete with a light rain, the result feels fresh and delicate, as if lifted straight from the pages of a vintage fairy tale.

When I was thinking of engagement session ideas for these two, the bride-to-be brought up wanting something in the water. I immediately scouted the Lake Geneva area for some unique spots. I came across a creek in Fontana, and knew it was the perfect location. After picking the location, I knew we needed a flower crown! I mean, how could you not, with a creek and wildflowers everywhere? And, who better to make one than the lovely Renee of Frontier Flowers of Fontana. She always does the most beautiful work. The session started with a thunderstorm, so we took advantage of the summer rain, and came out with some stunning shots. These two were so fun and up for anything, which always makes for fabulous photos.
