From the Bride-to-be:

Mother always knows best, right? This is apparently so in the case of Chris and I, as my mom was the first person to meet Chris and instantly knew he and I would be a good match. When Chris asked me out for a laid-back first date consisting of wings at a sports bar, I knew I would like him, too!  Over the next couple years, Chris brought me into his world of outdoor activities through all Wisconsin seasons, and I showed him that living with a cat wasn’t so bad.  Chris proposed to me on the land we bought together with future plans to build a home, right in the backyard of where our story began.

Our engagement session took place where Chris works and initially met my mom. Location was a no-brainer for us! With many different buildings and the forest recently dusted with snow, Jodi Nieslowsaki of Beyond Imagination Photography utilized multiple scenic areas to give us variety in our engagement pictures. She was very helpful in picking out outfits that popped against the white snow and suggesting props, such as our “Save the Date” mugs to bring personality to our pictures.  Jerseys with my future family name and a visit from Bo, our favorite family dog, made the shoot truly and uniquely ours!
