Milwaukee-based style blogger Molly Rasmussen — you may know her from Heart of a Blonde  is set to exchange "I dos" in just a few months, so we caught up with her on the ups and downs of wedding planning. (One up? These engagement photos by Kate Weinstein Photo.)

How you and your fiance met: Tim and I met working at a downtown Milwaukee restaurant and bar together, Mo's Irish Pub, after my freshman year of college. I can still remember the first time saying hello to him. We played "the chase" for a few weeks until we finally met outside of work. Our first date was a little awkward but our second time seeing one another outside of work was amazing! With a little liquid encouragement, Tim came out of his shell and absolutely dazzled me in one night's time. I was head over heels for our summer romance. When fall rolled around and I had to move back to school 300 miles away, we decided to give long-distance a try to see if our summer fling had substance to it. It was meant to be because we've successfully completed three years of long distance in our four-and-a-half year relationship!

Most difficult part of wedding planning so far: I did not expect to tire of making so many decisions! Before we were even engaged, I already had a ton of ideas about various aspects of our wedding, so it's been surprising to find that I'm struggling to make decisions in some areas. You never realize how many shades of white exist until you plan a wedding!

Part of the wedding you're most excited for: There are two specific moments I'm especially looking forward to. The first is the part of our ceremony when we lock eyes for the first time inside the church. There is so much momentum leading up to that moment and I can only hope to keep the waterworks under control! The second is our first dance. It's cheesy, but I can't wait for that moment when we're finally married and we have a few minutes to ourselves to soak in the entirety of the day.

How you're incorporating your style aesthetic into your wedding: I think among the dress, decor, and invitations, it will be very apparent that this is a Molly-style wedding! I consider my personal style to be classic with a modern twist, and that's exactly what the wedding will portray as well. Particular elements will be traditional while other parts will have a fun, modern feel to them.
