Sarah and Kyle chose a family farm for their wedding and filled the day with charming rustic touches. Sarah wore a long veil and her shoes had bright blue accents. The couple saw each other for the first time as Sarah walked down the aisle. Family and friends watched the couple say their "I dos" next to a sparkling lake. The details from the day were exquisit: a flower-adorned bike, tin watering cans holding flowers and a cake covered in greenery. After guests dined on tables overflowing with fresh flowers, they enjoyed dessert while dancing under the large white tent. From start to finish, this wedding spoke of sun, love and country feels.
From the photographer:
Sarah and Kyle's day started with a slight rain shower as the ladies got ready in the shelter of the Jefferson Street Inn in downtown Wausau, WI. The scent of fresh cut flowers filled the room and as we entered this bouquet from Sarah's husband-to-be was on display. Sarah was absolutely stunning in her dress and long veil. We arrived at Sarah's family farm in Mosinee, WI where the ceremony and reception were all set up for the day. The natural scenic beauty of her family's land rivaled any wedding venue we've seen this year! The ceremony overlooked a calm lake, the path leading to the reception was shaded with tall pines, and the tent was placed on the edge of a field perfect for sunset portraits of the couple. Kyle saw his bride for the first time when Sarah walked towards him, with tears in her eyes, down the aisle. With family and friends cheering them on they sealed their vows with a kiss, or two. The party began shortly after and they laughed, kissed, and danced as husband and wife. Words don't do this wedding justice so enjoy this photographed retelling of their day.
