Amanda and Mike: A Beautiful Day at Bacchus

What do you do when your seamstress ruins your wedding dress just two weeks before the winter? If you’re like most brides, you go into extreme panic. But if you’re Amanda Radebaugh, you don’t sweat it--just move onto the next gorgeous gown.

“She was absolutely calm throughout the whole experience and so relaxed on her wedding day,” says Joe Hang of Joe Hang Photography. “I was blown away by her easiness and calmness.”

The bride knew that her big day had very little to do with wardrobe malfunctions. “The important thing was marrying Mike, not my dress,” says Amanda, who admits she loved the new dress and felt beautiful on her wedding day.

The bride says her personal highlights for the day were getting ready with her closest friends, hanging out in the Pabst pub and having a brat while waiting to take pictures, the trolley ride, seeing Mike as she walked down the aisle, and dancing the night away. “I also loved our ceremony music and being able to choose contemporary songs that meant something to us, but were played beautifully by the String Quartet,” say Amanda, who explains the wedding party walked into "Cosmic Love" by Florence and the Machine; the bride walked down the aisle to "Follow you into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie, and the newly wed husband and wife exited the ceremony to "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. “It was just a personal touches that I loved.”

And now for more of those stunning touches!
