Emily & Josh

Sept. 6, 2009 at Monona Terrace in Madison

Emily Holcomb and Josh Baseheart wanted a traditional wedding—and an end-of-the-summer party. They got both wishes, with a traditional ceremony at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a festive reception at Monona Terrace in Madison. The couple kept it classic with a black and white theme, with pops of pink and purple. The bridal party attire: Strapless black polka dot dresses from White House/Black Market paired with purple pumps for the ladies, and black tuxes with purple striped ties and purple socks for the men. The reception décor continued the theme with white chair covers with black sashes, white table linens covered with a black and white damask table runner (in a funny coincidence, the print is named “Madison”) and vibrant purple and pink floral centerpieces. The couple and their guests capped off the night with a sparkler farewell in front of the state Capitol.
