Erika & Paul

June 12, 2010 at the Irish Barn of Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler

Who needs to hop a plane to host a destination wedding? Not Erika and Paul Hintz, who, before recently moving to Brussels, created a unique travel theme for their June nuptials. Their reception space came to life with touches of travel such as vintage-inspired postcards on the tables, which were named after cities the couple hopes to visit during their time abroad. Mock luggage tags marked guests’ names, a vintage suitcase, decorated with faraway postcards, was reinvented as a card box, while a coffee-table book featuring cities around the world was used as a guest book. Many guests even signed the page of a city to which they had traveled, offering worldly advice to the new bride and groom.
