Kinh & Tim

July 10, 2010 at The Everett Resort in Eagle River

It was a family affair for Kinh and Tim O’Brien as they celebrated their wedding day at The Everett Resort, a destination Tim’s family has owned since his childhood. Today, the resort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is used as a summer home for the O’Brien family. The simple, elegant ceremony included several highlights, including officiating by Judge Jim Mohr, who also married Tim’s father and stepmother 27 years ago, and Kinh’s heartfelt dedication to Tim’s 12-year-old son Nicholas. The couple also combined sand from Chicago, where both Tim and Kinh grew up, and San Francisco, where the couple met. Their personalized approach to the day flowed into the reception, which was aglow with green and purple accents, with each table named after a neighborhood in Chicago.
