It was love at first type for Kristin Studinski and Joseph Toryfter. After meeting on Match.com, Joe informed his coworkers: “This is the girl I’m going to marry.” It was an accurate premonition: Three years and one month after their first date—which lasted a mammoth 15 hours—Joe asked Kristin to marry him as they stood on her front porch. The couple celebrated their nuptials on a sunny, 60-degree October day in front of 120 guests. Hundreds of bright yellow leaves danced in the air at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, prompting one young gu est to inquire if Kristin and Joe had planned the natural spectacle. The delicate flowers in Kristin’s bouquet by Four Sisters Floral mirrored those on the lemon and carrot layer cake by Sweet Perfections. The couple carried an initials theme throughout the reception, atop the cake and on the homemade table cards. Kristin, clad in an ivory gown with a vintage-inspired clutch by American Bridal, and Joe, dashing in a brown tux, shared their first dance to “Soulmate” by Josh Turner.
