Kristine & Kyle
July 18, 2009 at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

Eclectic details made Kyle Nabilcy and Kristine Zierke’s wedding day memorable for both the couple and their guests. The bold palette of lime green and vivid blue lit up Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for the ceremony and reception. During the ceremony, Kristine’s uncle, a professor emeritus of classics at the University of Minnesota, read a selection from Homer’s Odyssey in both Greek and English. The reception was peppered with personal touches from Kyle and Kristine, with the programs, place cards, water bottles, and centerpieces all designed by the bride and groom. Their bridal attire was custom-made by Wai-Ching Clothing in Seattle, and Kristine wore a family heirloom Mikimoto pearl necklace. Although the bride had a terrible cold on the big day, undaunted, she celebrated her dream wedding until the reception’s end with Weezer’s “Holiday."

Bridal attire: Custom gown by Wai-Ching Clothing; Mikimoto pearl necklace | Flowers: Memorial Florists & Greenhouses | Invitations: Ink Fancy | Programs, Place Cards, Water Bottles and Centerpieces: Created by bride and groom | Hair: Salon Aura | Cake: The Cake Guru
