Though Megan Smith and William Nehring knew each other for years through mutual friends, it took a secret crush on William's end and a courageous kiss by Megan for the couple to come together. They haven't been apart since. William proposed to Megan on his family farm, where William's father grew up and where the pair often enjoyed walking and talking in the fields surrounding the farm. The day of the proposal proved to be a special walk though: William had placed a red blanket on the swing with a bottle of wine, two glasses and a ring box placed nearby. For their wedding, also at the Nehring family farm, they opted for a vintage elegance tone.
