Olivia Mulvey went to a café looking for oatmeal, and found a husband. At a café in Boston, Land of 10,000 Lakes native Nick Morawiecki was serving Olivia Irish steel-cut oatmeal and noticed her Minnesota sweatshirt. That fateful day inspired the favors—jars of oatmeal—for their May wedding at The Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale. (Olivia had always imagined being married in a barn.) The down home atmosphere was created with a few Irish jigs, some of which were written by Nick, and comfort food: BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, homemade mac-n-cheese and corn bread.
