With just seven months to plan their wedding, Tammy Demshar and Derron Bohne could have easily gone something old, something blue, something usual route. Instead they planned a celebration out of the ordinary, marrying on the hilltop overlooking the Enchanted Barn outside of Rice Lake. The reception moved down the hill into the barn, where cocktails and appetizers were served in the lower left and the dinner and dance was in the loft. Keeping with the rustic theme, the couple purchased wooden table signs from Etsy and hired a local fiddler to keep toes tapping. In traditional Brewtown fashion, Tammy and Derron also provided a rented cooled beer truck that served Leinenkugel’s Red, Honeyweiss and Sprecher Root Beer on tap throughout the evening. Sodas were served in old-fashioned small glass bottles, and even water bottles were personalized with the couple’s name and wedding date. The wedding party drank out of glass boot mugs – how appropriate for a barn wedding. It’s already a full house for Tammy and Derron: not only do they have four dogs, but they'll soon welcome a baby too.
