From the photographer:

What could be more romantic than a styled shoot set against the backdrop of autumn foliage and vines? A romantic marsala inspiration shoot was a labor of love, created from the idea of showing Wisconsin brides that there can be more to fall weddings than pumpkins and mums. From the beginning, I knew that I wanted the color story of the shoot to be seasonal autumn without the traditional color combinations. Over the Vines in Edgerton provided the perfect venue for this dreamy shoot, a collaboration of Wisconsin's finest wedding vendors.

Drawing inspiration from the location and from Pantone's Color of 2015, marsala, the shoot took on a romantic moodiness and drama embodied by florals rich in tones of merlot, burgundy, and plum with hints of dusty blush to soften the palette. Amanda from Alluring Blooms wanted the starting point of the floral design to be tinted cooper beech. It is the perfect marsala foliage and served as the main element of the centerpiece garland and chair accents. An array of Wisconsin grown blooms were added including tardiva hydrangea, café au lait dahlias, and velvety coral hanging amaranthus. Plum ranunculus, beige roses, fuchsia double tulips, and blush and burgundy astilbe completed the look and added a nice range of hues and textures.

Kirstie and Mallory from Elevate Events wanted to create an elegant tablescape built around the cooper beech centerpiece garland by incorporating various metals such as beautiful florence mocha chargers, gold flatware, and copper engraved wine charms. Red velvet whoopie pies served as place settings, and grapes and wine from the vineyard brought it all together. Lastly, the flowing blush Paloma gown by Elizabeth Dye was beautifully complimented by a lush floral bouquet adorned by an assortment of cascading ribbon, the perfect addition for this swoon-worthy shoot.
