The crashing waves of Lake Michigan meant that the sound of Shannon & Roberto's vows to one another could not be heard beyond the circle of ten people they had invited to share the day with them. The bride wore an off-white, lacy dress and carried a maroon bouquet centered around a pale protea to her simple elopement on the beach of Grant Park. The leaves had just begun to turn colors as bride and groom said their vows, standing on a vintage rug in the sand and surrounded by simple floral columns. Following the emotional ceremony, the small wedding party went axe-throwing before heading to dinner at Braise.
