These high school sweethearts were reunited after college and began to eagerly plan a wedding full of historical art, ornate buildings and birds. A hobby of the couple, birds showed up on the wax seals of the personalized menus as well as several other signs. The bride’s mother stepped into the role of wedding planner and wowed the couple with her hand calligraphy, attention to detail and dedication (she spent many of her lunch breaks planning). The bridesmaid dresses were custom-made, as well as their earrings. Family was a central theme of this wedding, with the bride wearing her grandmother’s garter and great-grandmother’s broach. Camille’s light cream dress fell just off the shoulder into elegant folds, accompanied by a hand-painted veil with gold leaf trim. After a 45-minute ceremony created by a close friend, guests walked to the Madison Club for dinner and a tasty hand-painted cake and danced past midnight! Purple floral centerpieces stood out against cream linens and gold decor, creating a lovely atmosphere for friends and family.
