Romantic Styled Shoot at Bridle Barn & Gardens
This dreamy outdoor wedding shoot is full of lush greenery and creamy colors. Ru, from Spirit & Style Events, pictured a garden wedding full of twinkling lights and peach blossoms, with a bold red barn for the reception. A pergola draped with lace and greenery was placed on the nearby hill for the ceremony. The couple dined on a table adorned with lace, flowers and china, under a glistening chandelier. After dancing beneath lights that glowed against the dark wood of the barn, the couple was photographed in the enchanting corn field behind the barn. The day was filled with antique touches: trunks from Frontier Props, elaborate bird cages from A La Crate Vintage and delicate hanging himmeli style tea light holders. To top off the evening, the couple posed in the antique carriage provided by Bridle Barn and Gardens. From thoughtful details to a stunning view, this romantic styled shoot was perfection.
From Ru, the wedding planner:
This shoot was done at Bridle Barn and Gardens in Mount Horeb WI. It was a dreamy wedding that captured a romantic spirit. The pergola ceremony set up was done in a simple way that paired slightly peach lace with a beautiful green garland and hanging geometric himmeli style tealight holders. The shoot was done at sunset, so the romance was in full swing! I loved the idea of using vintage bird cages throughout the shoot and so the pergola was also adorned with a rather large bird cage from A la Crate Rentals (Madison WI). Several trunks were placed on the outset of the pergola as well (Frontier Props & more). The white wooden chairs (Madison Party Rentals) were adorned with blush/peach chair sashes and mercury mason jars were placed down the aisles, with peach roses and white roses and baby's breath tucked inside the jars.
The head table shot was very beautiful and shot in the barn at the location. I paired my charcoal shantung table linens with a beautiful satin peach, teal and lavender table runner from my newest collection of floral prints at Spirit & Style Events. The florals were a mix of peonies, roses, spray roses and lavender. To add to the detail of the shoot, I also added a small area of two tables outside of the barn on a small deck area. One table held a cupcake stand that had a small white bird on top. It also had a lovely new guest book idea.
I found an old shutter and added clips to it and then wrote a sign that said " love is tireless, love is true, we'd love some advice from beautiful you, we've unlocked a day and a lifetime of love, please share your key to happiness above". To go with the wording, there was two large keys to represent the symbolism of the saying i had created.
Two small birdcage tealight holders were adorning this area as well. A second table holding a small suitcase for cards and gifts were next to it. I used a second teal berry bush table runner on this table that paired perfectly with the other table runner used in the head table shot.
There were several shots of the bride and groom on the property that included the beauty there. Bridle Barn and Gardens has an antique carriage that adds to the romance of the shoot. The couple also had several beautiful shots in the nearby corn field in back of the property. The Barn has some amazing lights strung from a giant tree behind the barn too.
