Ceremony & reception: Paine Art Center and Gardens, Oshkosh

Honeymoon: Maui

Brittney Tovar and Jack Breese sought a wedding where traditional style met modern décor, for a timeless effect—and the Paine Art Center and Gardens made that dream a reality. The couple kept the ceremony décor simple, so the lush gardens could shine. Following the ceremony, guests were escorted to a cocktail hour in the Carriage House and European-style courtyard, where they strolled the formal gardens of the property, cocktails in hand. Dinner was held under a giant tent on the mansion’s back lawn. With views of the gardens, the space came alive with soft lighting, candles, gorgeous florals and Frank Sinatra-style music. After dinner, guests headed to the conservatory for cake and dancing. The couple displayed eight cakes on a large table, which acted as the room’s centerpiece. Brittney, a calligrapher, created a custom monogram logo that was incorporated into many elements of the big day, from the invitations to chalkboard signs, seating chart and table numbers, for a perfectly personalized evening.
