Chris and Erica's wedding was pure autumn magic. They were married in Plum Grove Chapel on a clear October day. The moment the couple saw Folklore Village they knew that it was where they wanted to be married. From walking among the fields to laughing with friends inside the big red barn, the day was bursting full of warmth and love. The guests dined in the barn and tables held vases full of beautiful wildflowers and greenery. The couple sipped on bubbly and shoved cake into each other's face while friends and family gathered around them. At the end of the night, guests sat out on the porch and watched a gorgeous sunset - the perfect ending to a perfect fall wedding.
From the bride:
When my husband and I came across Folklore Village, we knew it was a magical place and memories were to be made here. The historic Plum Grove Chapel was where we were married and I will never forget the beautiful fall light that shined in on us and our guests that day. From the moment my husband and I made eye contact as I entered the chapel to the picturesque Wisconsin sunset, our day was unforgettable. The weather was unusually warm for late October, which allowed everyone to truly enjoy the scenery of Wisconsin’s driftless region. We were blessed with a warm fall day and everything was perfect, even with the imperfections!
From the photographer:
Erica & Chris's wedding was just the best. Perfect for them. Perfect for photos. I was looking forward to their wedding all summer! Erica is just the best.
The ceremony was a short walk in the woods from the getting ready site. A photographers dream! The ceremony was in this one room little church and was so adorable. The ceremony had maybe 30 people which made the whole thing feel really intimate. Chris looked at Erica during the ceremony like she could walk on water. It's my fav when that happens. Oh the weather! It was October and really warm. After the ceremony there were lots of hugs and some tears. It was perfect. I want to know Chris and Erica forever.
