When you look through the stunning photos by Emily Steffen Photography of Dani and Troy's wedding, be sure to look closely. The couple was able to weave in lots of personal details that represent their artistic nature while at the same delighting the senses of their guests. People often think of "eclectic" as just a mish-mash of stuff, but when styled gracefully--as in the case of Dani and Troy's event--it feels as if everything was meant to go together. Vintage and current-day objects of different colors, textures, and eras come together in unique ways on this special day, and the photos beautifully highlight the creativity that lives within this couple.

Both of them are true artists! Between amazing musical skills, photography artistry, and moving a million and one times throughout their engagement, Dani and Troy managed to pull together a wedding that truly had their stamp on it! Their ideas were clear, and every single detail was strung together to create a visual representation of what Dani and Troy dreamed of for their day; from Dani’s unbelievable BHLDN Crashing Waves gown to the hand-watercolored invitations and the beautiful headpiece (that Dani made the morning of her wedding) to the eclectic mix of flowers from the talented Randy at Evolutions in Design. From music to flowers to centerpieces and (my favorite part) their self-played song to one another just before their exchange of vows! It all had meaning to Dani and Troy and it all made sense when it came together as a whole! Eclectic drinking glasses, gongs, athena-like head pieces and a fabulous connection with one another made for a perfect wedding day (even depsitre the freezing temperatures)!
I think Troy put it best in his short and sweet thank you to guests at the reception: “I’m in love with Dani. Thanks for coming to my wedding. I hope you have a good time!”
