Ceremony: St. Monica Church, Whitefish Bay

Reception: Milwaukee Art Museum

Honeymoon: Bali

Sam Douthit’s proposal to Isabelle Hoy was literally a walk in the park. In May 2016, the couple took a vacation to New York. As they were strolling through Central Park, Sam dropped to one knee and asked his college sweetheart to join him in a new adventure: marriage. Of course, Isabelle answered with a blissful “Yes!” A year later, the couple who had cheered on the Broncos at alma mater Santa Clara University toasted with a Blushing Bronco cocktail to celebrate where it all began. After the couple tied the knot at Isabelle’s childhood church, the wedding party hopped on a trolley to the Milwaukee Art Museum. Guests were greeted by a floral fantasy of pastel summer blooms and the majesty of the modern museum with unmatched lake views. As the Steve Edwards Orchestra played on, the music-loving newlyweds danced the night away in the company of friends and loved ones.
