Chris and Kelsy Lee say they had two themes for their wedding: the color green and a celebration of love. “Our wedding was a day to say how much we love each other, and for everyone else to see that too,” Chris says. But it was also a day of remembrance, as the couple celebrated the memory of Kelsy’s father in the ceremony and reception. Kelsy kept a charm on her bouquet that featured a photograph of her father on one side and a message that read “Though your dad is now an angel, he left heaven for a while to walk you down the aisle” on the other side. Kelsy’s mother also set up a memory table at the reception in tribute to Kelsy’s father, who died five years ago, and for Chris’ grandparents.
