Wisconsin Bride Fall/Winter 2023

We wanted to go for a balance of‭ ‬elegance and playful‭, ‬keeping things very upscale but also incorporating a fun‭ ‬and less formal side to things‭. ‬

Renee Tantillo‭, ‬Founder and Creative Director‭ ‬ of Renee Breanne Design‭ + ‬Co

Presenting the happy couple, who make their entrance in the light-filled environs of Northern Haus, featuring 36-foot ceilings and exposed beams. Accompanied by her groom in a refined black suit, our bride is the picture of nuptial loveliness in an off-the-shoulder Monique Lhuillier gown with a discreet ruffle and flowing train. In her bouquet by Atmospheric Floral, a selection of garden roses with soft peaches for a hint of color, set off by the airy texture of oregano foliage, sea star fern, sea oats and smoke bush make a statement of serene splendor. Below, it's sheer elegance from A to R in a refined serif font, paired with custom calligraphy by Lettered by Shi, sweetly bound with subtle sage bows. Dark chargers and cutlery plus aubergine florals and goblets of red wine add drama to the table, while the sage green ribbon accent echoes the delicate florals.
A dramatic line of white tapers in glimmering metallic holders rise and fall like notes in a musical composition. Forgoing the traditional centerpiece, Atmospheric Floral created delicate vignettes, a counterpoint to the grand line of tapers, featuring lacy ammi florets, larkspur and dried hydrangea. A minimalist ceremony setting means all eyes are on our couple (who, fittingly, only have eyes for each other). In the floral installation, a mix of lunaria, tall sea oats and smoke bush play off the tree forms, with creamy garden roses and foxglove bells adding a luxe touch. Wooden crossback chairs await the guests in this perfect circle of love. Our groom smiles, which could be because it’s the happiest day of his life, but maybe the boutonniere — which includes dried nigella pod, lunaria, smoke bush, and creme brûlée phlox — gives him a little something extra to light up the day.
Après “I do,” let the fun begin. Northern Haus’ new mobile bar brings the bubbly and other beverages to you for a reception on the venue’s 20 acres of meadows, rolling hills and forest. Our bride takes the sophistication up a notch in a sleek Monique Lhuillier sheath for cocktail hour. For her second look, our bride hits the dance floor in this gauzy confection, kicking up her heels in barely-there moderne acrylic. A signature cocktail caps off the evening.
