Alyssa Jamison and Daniel Bader met while performing with touring musical group Kids from Wisconsin, and the singer/dancer and trumpet player quickly started a love duet. Four years later, Daniel proposed at Custer State Park while on a camping trip. “Daniel found the most incredible view and insisted on taking my picture,” says Alyssa. “He went to grab the camera out of his backpack, but instead pulled out a ring box and got down on one knee. I was so excited that I almost tackled him off the mountain.” The couple hosted their reception at Woodwalk Gallery, expressing their love of nature with the venue’s gorgeous natural setting. But the real rustic romance took place at Door County’s Cave Point, where the two exchanged personal vows beyond those from their Catholic ceremony. As waves crashed along the rocky shoreline, Alyssa and Daniel declared their love for one another with their parents and the photographer as witnesses to this heartfelt moment.
