When the couple met in early 2020, Kevin Falls’ sweet and reserved personality complemented Claire Castaneda’s extroversion so perfectly that, after just two weeks of dating, they moved in together. Playing up their love of hosting, dancing and bringing loved ones together, their goal for their wedding day at The Riviera Ballroom in Lake Geneva was to throw an unforgettable party that felt “intentional, immersive and undeniably them.”
Leaning into the grand aesthetic of the ballroom, a saturated palette of burgundy, fuchsia, amber and peach infused the space with bold elegance, while a rich and unique combination of hydrangeas, dyed amaranthus, orchids and roses provided a distinctly modern feel to the event. Each burgundy-clad bridesmaid carried a mono-bouquet, while Claire carried a combination of the florals down the aisle in a texturally rich and sculptural arrangement that echoed those at the altar.
After exchanging vows, the newlyweds kept the energy high by moving the party to the water for a lively sunset cocktail hour aboard the Grand Belle. Meanwhile, the ballroom was transformed to accommodate an evening of celebration, with tables adorned in eclectic combinations of sage green linens and artful floral centerpieces. Table lamps scattered throughout the room created an intimate dinner atmosphere, while the dueling pianos and large dance floor allowed friends and family to truly let loose.
Centering their wedding day on the experience of their loved ones while embracing their love of vibrancy, Claire and Kevin’s wedding felt effortless in its reflection of their playful and unapologetic love. —Ryley S. Hoff
