A Lake Geneva Wedding With Effortless Simplicity

After sharing flirtatious banter at work, Amy and Michael found themselves on the same company softball team. Playful and competitive, the two signed up for intramural volleyball together, and they soon fell in love. Skipping a large engagement, Michael proposed on a serene evening in the Bahamas, choosing to share the intimate moment with Amy on a private balcony overlooking the beach.

The bride shares that she and the groom envisioned a timeless and joyful wedding. The couple chose the picturesque Grand Geneva Resort & Spa as their wedding venue, leaning into the resort's relaxing atmosphere and elevated natural setting to create meaningful memories with the people they love most.

A courtyard ceremony with scenic lakeside views flowed seamlessly into a reception guided by a classic color palette of delicate white and green. The intentionally mild organic aesthetic invited relaxed energy and warmth from abundant candlelight and lush florals. Staying true to their personalities, the couple gave guests custom temporary tattoos featuring their names, and a photobooth captured all the heartfelt fun of the festivities.

An interactive dueling pianos experience, elevated by live drums and a saxophonist, contributed a full, high-energy sound to the evening. The format allowed guests to request songs throughout the night, transforming the reception with personalized, crowd-driven excitement and becoming a highlight of the day.
