Muted Sunset Florals and Firework Finale at Family Lake House

Alanna and Adam celebrated their Midwestern roots on their wedding day at Alanna's beloved family lake house. Guests were invited to the event with an invitation suite showcasing the beauty of Lake Namakagon to set the expectations for a beautiful Northwoods weekend. The backyard affair was bedecked in an abundance of muted sunset-hued florals, adding warmth to the lush lakeside scene. With the sparkling waters behind them, Alanna and Adam pledged their love to one another with friends and family bearing witness. 

Transforming the property's gazebo into a tiki bar, guests enjoyed playful cocktails out of souvenir mugs in an ode to the couple's ritual of visiting tiki bars when they travel. Adam is a chef, so the food experience was of utmost importance, which was reflected in the roaming oyster shucker and variety of Wisconsin cheeses and charcuterie. 

Under a sailcloth tent, an elegant evening of dinner and dancing unfolded with woven lanterns hanging overhead and gorgeous blooms peppering the tables alongside tapered candles. Adam and Alanna surprised their guests with fireworks show they punctuated the lively evening with a sense of wonder that truly sealed their wedding day as a showcase of the best Wisconsin Northwoods has to offer. —Ryley S.
