Tina and Mikey’s Halloween hello transformed into a wedding full of love, laughter and romance

Though their first meeting during Halloween weekend their freshman year of college did not immediately bring about the start of a new romance, Tina and Mikey never forgot one another. Rejoined after graduation, the pair dated for three years before he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, with twenty-five of their closest friends waiting at a house nearby to celebrate. On a gorgeous September day, the bride’s off-the-shoulder trumpet gown, complemented by simple accessories, was elegant and timeless as she exited St. Victor’s Church in Monroe—the same place where Mikey’s parents were married—with her groom, who looked dapper in his classic black suit and bow tie. Following romantic portraits of the couple, some of which included their loveable pup, Bruno, the pair made their way to the celebration held beneath a grand white tent on his late grandfather’s land. Muted colors throughout the event’s design, such as champagne bridesmaid dresses, beautiful floral arrangements and white and green tablescapes, allowed the surrounding grassy landscape to really stand out. A bar built by Tina’s dad provided a perfect kickstart to the party, as a few of their friends acted as bartenders to whip up specialty cocktails for guests that had finished saying hello to Rip the pug. With cold sparklers and Tina’s fun and frilly dress change, the night turned electric as the newlyweds made their way to the dance floor, embracing their love of dancing and a good time.
