We're over the moon to be featuring our very first female same-sex couple on WiBride.com! Charlee and Charlotte met and fell in love before both Wisconsin and the U.S. Supreme Court gave their legal blessings to gay marriage. The couple already had a union ceremony date set, but when the state said same-sex couples could legally share "I Dos," they couldn't contain their excitement and decided to elope. With vows and first kisses as wife and wife out of the way, it was time for the two to throw a celebration bash--exactly what they had wanted! The Madison Club set the stunning scene for guests to toast the beautiful newlyweds, and Shanna Allen Photography captured the happy moments for us to share with you. Enjoy!

From the Newlyweds:
We wanted a celebration--read, a big party--with great food, great booze, and great people. (It's a good thing we know great people.) We chose the date of our ceremony before WI legalized same sex marriage, but couldn't wait once we found out we were able to make it legal. So we eloped! After we got the legalities out of the way, it was time to celebrate. Our reception was held at The Madison Club, which offered a cozy, romantic atmosphere for all of us. Dinner was served buffet style, and Wisconsin beer was on tap. We rounded out the evening with dancing, laughs, and--did I mention dancing?
