As a wedding industry pro, Jessica Bedore, wedding photographer and owner of Tie the Knot Bridal Boutique, has seen it all. Still, she says nothing compares to the perfect proposal and surprise vineyard party with family and friends that the love of her life, Andrew Van Gorden, pulled off. Their autumn nuptials began at St. John the Evangelist, where they were the third generation in Jessica’s family to be wed there. Her 96-year-old grandma not only attended but celebrated what would have been her 73rd wedding anniversary. “The moment I walked down the aisle was surreal,” Jessica says. “Just being in our church that has so much history in our family and being surrounded by our loved ones was such an unforgettable experience.” Jessica and Andrew created a dream team of wedding professionals, including friends and colleagues; inspired by the food, architecture and colors of their European trips, the couple incorporated their favorite details from Tuscany. Ebb & Flow Flowers and Alliey & Co. achieved their vision with olive branches, travertine stone vases and Italian-style chairs at the Oneida Country Club, creating a warm and romantic ambience. Guests enjoyed mini charcuterie boards, bread, balsamic vinegar and olive oil at their tables, adding to the European vibe. “The entire day was everything we always dreamt of, and we were so happy with the memories we made,” Jessica says.
