From secret crushes confessed on prom night to a reunion after years of long-distance dating, Mrugami Mahadik and Vinit Gheewala’s 10-year love story began its grandest chapter with their lively wedding day. The couple chose Mitchell Domes and Greenhouse No. 7 for their celebration, highlighting the beauty of Milwaukee and honoring the bride’s love of gardening. Aiming to modernize and personalize their Hindu ceremony, the day’s design was filled with thoughtful and playful touches, beginning with the pastel palette of the bridal party. Vinit made a vibrant entrance with a baraat, accompanied by music and dancing as he approached the ceremony. Guests received a thirteen-page program detailing the couple’s love story, describing the ceremony for those unfamiliar, and including fun facts as well as a special thank you to everyone for attending. Mrugami was a vision of beauty in her delicately detailed blush attire. Another layer of beauty was added during the ceremony when floral garlands were placed around the couple, while live music inspired by the bride’s love of Bridgerton filled the air. Following the ceremony, guests were greeted with posters along the hallway leading to cocktail hour, illustrating Mrugami and Vinit’s story. Greenhouse No. 7 served as the reception space, featuring a neutral, contemporary palette and a canopy of foliage and light, setting the scene for an evening of celebration.
