Though their nuptials would be deemed “destination” (all of their guests traveled to attend), the bride and groom were no strangers to the locale. “We wanted to bring our friends and family to the city where we met, where we fell in love,” says Savannah. From the arrival of delicately green, letter-pressed invitations to the indulgent dessert table at the end of the event, each wedding detail told a story. Prior to the Roman Catholic ceremony, the streets of Milwaukee became their canvas as the bride and groom, accompanied by their entourage, ventured around the city to take photos in places that held layers of personal significance. Carrying a lush bouquet of dainty pink and crisp white blooms, Savannah wore a lightly ruched sweetheart gown with a mermaid skirt. Clad in a deep-gray suit and emerald tie, Dominic sported a boutonniere with blossoms that expertly coordinated with his bride's bouquet. The reception space exuded industrial-chic elegance, serving as an idyllic backdrop for an emerald-tinted celebration. A palette of spring greens stood out in detail upon detail, from bridesmaids’ dresses to ornate goblets and mirrored the sweetness of the season. Savannah and Dominic—who reveled in the intimate moments, including their private vow-reading before their ceremony— cherished “seeing everyone enjoying each other’s company. The food, drinks, and the overall atmosphere were so special.
