Lauren and Steve were set up by their friends and family and it was fireworks from the start (literally - they met on July 4th!). Steve later proposed on a long weekend in Door County and the date was set. Inspired by the European countryside and the sun-drenched hills of California wine country, this couple wanted their wedding to embody the feeling of a weekend escape. The decor reflected the warm creams and blushes of wine country and the elegant greenery of a country estate. After a ceremony officiated by the bride’s brother, guests dined on long banquet tables with fern and flower centerpieces. Near dusk, Lauren and Steve explored the magical gardens by taking a romantic walk between the vines and towering trees. True love was truly in the summer air for these newlyweds.
