After two weeks of dating, Mandy Brux and Nate Zawerschnik knew they were compatible enough to be housemates; within a year, they confirmed that they were soulmates, and four years later, on Christmas Day 2018, came a proposal. They were united in their love of the outdoors, and they incorporated earthy elements in their wedding for an evergreen affair. Instead of a unity candle, they shared their passion for hunting and archery with a unity shoot at a custom target, wowing the crowd: Nate’s green arrow and Mandy’s blue arrow hit the target one right on top of the other. The environment surrounded guests in flora such as pine and eucalyptus, and rustic touches including pinecones and oil lamps on wooden slabs. The night they’ll never forget couldn’t have happened, the bride says, without the love of her mom, aunt and uncle, Ryan’s parents, and the many dear friends and family members surrounding them.
