From the photographer:

Karya and Lance's wedding was truly from a fairytale. Complete with a crown and carriage ride, the entire day was filled with personal touches and once-in-a-lifetime moments. The couple chose a travel theme as it is something that they love to do together with a color palette including a wine magenta (the couple owns a wine bar), golds, and other metallics. There was also a strong Norwegian presence, including Karya's traditional Solje crown and also the broach attached to her bouquet, as Lance is 100 percent Norwegian. The couple blended together their families and all of their daughters were bridesmaids (the youngest two wearing floral crowns in their hair) while Karya's son gave her away and served as one of Lance's groomsmen. Favors for the guests included personalized bottles of wine and guests were able to pass the time with a fun crossword puzzle program, DIY photobooth, and (of course) carriage rides around Riverside Park. Karya's ring was custom designed and features an antique yellow diamond. Her wedding day gift to Lance was a customized passport etched with her own handwriting. Guests blew bubbles in celebration after the ceremony and then signed their names to the globe that served as the guestbook. At the reception, the bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table while guests sat at tables assigned to different (and favorite) travel locales around the world - each table decorated to fit the theme of the location. Of course, there was a Norwegian themed table!
