Jodi Krautkramer is a wedding photographer herself, so she knows how to set a pretty scene and tell a story. She set up dozens of tables representing the couple’s love story. One spoke of groom Brent Nieslowski’s love of fishing and hunting, another honored UW-Platteville and Southwest Tech for the college years when they met. Another displayed childhood photographs, yet another was a nod to the mix CDs Brent made for her when they first started dating. The special touches didn’t stop there. The brooch on her bridal bouquet belonged to her maternal grandmother, the blue rosary beads to her paternal grandmother. Their dog Romeo was a guest of honor, and Jodi herself made the cake topper out of clothespins, an old T-shirt and lace trimming. She also designed the invitations, and a chalkboard sketch urged guests to hashtag their Instagram snapshots, preserving new stories for years to come.
