Kate Anderson and Dave Weinstein met by chance, when the duo was paired together for a grad school project. The project partners turned into the best of friends until Dave took the friendship to a new level with a first date. Fast forward a year — Dave was on one knee, surrounded by family, to ask Kate to become his wife. The pair found their wedding's color palette and overall mood through one of Kate's favorite paintings, Botticelli's Birth of Venus, pairing shades of corals and teal with metallics for dazzling décor. Kate, a wedding photographer herself, turned most of the aspects of the wedding into her own projects, from calligraphy to floral arrangements, putting a personalized touch on all of the details.
