Although Alyssa Thomas and Benjamin Weyers grew up in the same neighboorhood, they did not cross paths until one fateful night at their hometown bar. The two stayed in touch despite living in different cities, eventually starting a long-distance relationship. Alyssa decided to relocate to Chicago, where Ben lived, and a year afterward, he proposed on vacation in Portugal. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Egg Harbor, they designed a light and airy celebration with whimsical details. The ceremony was held lakeside, surrounded by lush white and blue blooms.
