Beneath August storm clouds and rolling thunder, Erin and Hillary prepared for their intimate celebration with the help of their stylists, who made quick work in accommodating for the unruly weather. Nestled amongst the lush greenery of the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, the couple posed for their portraits. The brides were two peas in a pod in their A-line gowns with floral lace adornments in the bodices, similar enough to complement each other with stark differences that showed off their individual styles. From their fun, matching braided updos to their colorful and textured bouquets, their cohesive attire and beaming smiles perfectly embodied the well-loved adage of “two hearts beating as one.” The venue provided Erin and Hillary with several picturesque landscapes, though the prairie-style tower gardens—with its impeccable stone work and winding vines—stole the show. While rain came in waves as the pair made their way to Lewis Park for the ceremony, the clouds parted for one magical hour and cast gorgeous sunlight upon the brides and their family as they said their vows. As the newlyweds explain, “It was the perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter and resilience.”
