We first met Meghan and Cory for dinner in Madison and instantly fell in love with their down-to-earth, kind-hearted personalities--both individually and as a couple. Having the opportunity to photograph their wedding day, and seeing them surrounded by all of their family and friends who, too, were so full of love, was extraordinary.
The two met through mutual friends in high school--seven years ago--and at the reception, Cory's best man talked about how Cory immediately told him about this really pretty girl that he had met and he knew the rest was history. Just like that, it happens. This couple has been through so much together that they already have such a history together! And to think that they are now just starting a new beginning of the rest of their history--it makes our hearts so very happy.
It was a day filled with warmth, emotion, and so many tears. I love these days. Both Meghan and Cory were so nervous to see one another before the ceremony--I think it's because they are most comfortable, most themselves, in each other's presence. They held hands, stole glances and smiles; Meghan looked beautiful. At dinner, stories were shared about just how magnificent these two people are and we all watched a video that told the story of their lives together. It was a glorious day
As sung during their first dance song, "I'll be your rainy day lover whenever the sunny days end. And whatever the weather, we have each other, and that's how the story will end." To their forever ending!
