From the photographer:
Carly & Dan's wedding day was a nod to the 1900s glamor age, mixed with vintage touches. Her gown completely stunned in white lace and nude underlay. "Modern bohemian" meets "vintage speakeasy era" all in one - and my favorite part, the tassles! Their venue, set at the historic Maxwell Mansion, also added to this day's charm. The guys got ready in the apothecary bar, tying their bowties while sporting their navy tuxedos and black smoking shoes. It was easy to feel whisked back into time. The mansion was just as charming on the outside as it was inside, offering a blank canvas for outdoor lawn ceremonies and tented patio receptions. Carly and Dan brought in vintage books and candelabras and mismatched goblets to decorate the tables while the hanging greenery from Flowers for Dreams gave the tented reception an al fresco feel. The bridesmaids were also mismatched, and selected silk and suede jewel-toned gowns of their choosing. Carly and Dan added in one more historic element to their day, renting out the Yacht Polaris - vintage charter boat through Lake Geneva Cruise Lines. They spent the early afternoon relaxing and cruising Lake Geneva champagne-in-hand with their wedding party. A quintessential Lake Geneva wedding day!
