They say when you know, you know—and for Kaylee Jaeger and Nick Prebelski, they knew from the start. Their love story began with an unexpected twist when, after meeting online and planning a date at a rooftop restaurant in Green Bay, they both arrived early and serendipitously first met in the elevator, instantly feeling a spark. An engagement came three years later when Kaylee found Nick on one knee surrounded by candles and flower petals with “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison playing softly in the background of their home. An English garden theme sprinkled with vintage charm was on full display for their June wedding day at The LedgeCrest Reserve. To showcase her playful personality, bride Kaylee opted for a blue gown accessorized with jewelry from her grandmother and a diamond necklace from her groom-to-be. The reception was the ideal blend of the bride’s and groom’s respective styles, with old books acting as table numbers and brass candle sticks adding a romantic element while the cigar and bourbon bar added a masculine touch. Kaylee showcased her Old Hollywood-inspired second look as a night of heartfelt toasts, live music and dancing ensued.
