"One of my biggest concerns with finding a photographer was that I wanted our photos to feel genuine, not staged. However, Zach and I can be pretty awkward in front of the camera so we definitely still needed some kind of direction. Olivia and Bryan were SUCH a joy to work with. They were organized, professional, and personable from day one. We came to them with a bit of a last minute request (I believe it was 2 weeks out from the desired date?) and they were so flexible and easy to work with. Zach and I have never had professional photos taken as a couple, so we were a little apprehensive. Olivia and Bryan were so warm and welcoming it really helped to put us at ease. We were given seemingly simple prompts that allowed us to be ourselves and have fun together. There were times I would forget the camera was even there, and we just existed in these little moments together. The session was also a reminder of all the little things I love about Zach. I literally could not stop laughing (even when asked to take a more serious picture) because of him. I was genuinely surprised how romantic it felt to be in front of the camera. It was so nice to be able to spend that time with Zach, to walk that trail again and think of the last time we were there together compared to that moment, and to spend all the downtime in between talking with Bryan and Olivia as well. It was so helpful to be prompted ahead of time on things like timeline and photo groupings to keep things flowing smoothly; Olivia and Bryan brought up things that we never would have thought of ourselves, which was great since we had never worked with a professional photographer before. The communication throughout the time we booked them all the way through to the big day, and even beyond that, was so appreciated. You definitely knew they were thinking about your event and doing everything they could to make it amazing!
