Maybe it's because Thanksgiving just passed, but when it comes to natural outdoor beauty, there is a lot to be thankful for in Wisconsin. While some of us (ahem, me), could do with a few more warmer days, it's hard not to fall in love with fall each year as everyday neighborhood scenes transform into brightly colored works of art. As autumn comes to a close, reflect on the everything that's wonderful about this time of year in our state with Heidi and Tad's amazing outdoor engagement shoot. Warm tones lend the perfect backdrop for this couple's connection, and Karen Ann Photography beautifully captures the love that they share. Even though the changing leaves may have all dropped--and in some places are covered with snow--this shoot shows that it can always be autumn in our hearts.
From the Bride to Be:
Tad and I met through the opening of his restaurant that he co-owns with his family. His dad interviewed me for waitressing. I didn't want Tad to interview me, because I thought he was cute, and I was nervous enough. A week after opening day, Tad asked me out to dinner and I turned him down. After eight months of declining him, I finally gave him a chance. We had our first kiss on Halloween weekend in the middle of the street. At that moment, I knew I didn't want to be kissing anyone else. I fell immediately in love. I have never been so close and comfortable with anyone like I am with Tad. We laugh every day and get along famously. We became the best of friends. Spring of 2014, we took our first trip together to my favorite place, Pensacola Beach, Florida. The first few days, I could tell Tad was nervous about something. He couldn't sit still. Saturday, March 22, he proposed right on the beach. I immediately tackled him in the sand and said YES. It was perfect! We have grown so much together in these last two years. I fall more and more in love with him every day. We have our moments, like every couple has, but through the love we have for each other we always pull through. I'm patiently waiting to marry the man of my dreams, my soul mate, and my best friend on October 24, 2015.
