Red brick walls and black and white accents provided a dramatic backdrop for dreamy bursts of lavender, ivory and mauve to shine in a lovely setting: Hatchery Riverside, a U.S. Fish Control Lab that’s been renovated into a mod event center, gathering spot and boutique hotel. Summer Snyder of Orange Door Weddings was inspired by fashion—notably the Dior spring show—for the design scheme, and Atmospheric Floral added color and whimsy in plentiful flower arrangements.
We used black white and glass as a strong base palette to have the florals from Atmospheric Floral really pop. I loved the juxtaposition of a wild texture against clean lines.

The bride’s lightly ruched strapless gown, her loose waves and dewy makeup made for an ethereal vision. Completing her look was an unstructured bouquet in sherbet colors tied with a delicate satin ribbon and a matching shoulder corsage. Setting a sophisticated tone, the stationery suite featured textured deckle edges, sweeping script and a gold wax seal. The tablescape mixed individual bud vases, a rich centerpiece and a host of candles, while playful placemats echoed the oversized wall installation. A masterful four-tier cake embodied simplicity, elevated by intricate bows for decoration.
