On the day of Clare Niswonger’s parents’ anniversary, she got to marry the love of her life, Tom Enright. Although the pair met in high school, a dating app reconnected them after college, and it seemed their lingering crushes for each other never went away.

A dreamy Pacific Northwest proposal at the San Juan Islands in Washington sealed the deal and paved the way to their breathtaking wedding day. Wanting their loved ones to experience one of their favorite places, Clare and Tom decided to host their matrimony in Door County. With a history of family vacations and exploring the peninsula together, it was clear this was where they needed to start the next chapter of their lives.

Bridesmaids donned a variety of rich hues and patterns to adhere to the early autumn color palette, while Clare opted for a romantic gown with floral appliqué. Paying homage to the iconic Door County cherry tree, cherry motifs were elegantly woven into the décor. Loved ones sipped on Door County cherry old fashioneds and drinks from a chic beer boat. The whimsy carried into the tented reception, where flourishing blooms adorned every corner. Layered linens and rattan lighting added texture to the design and played into the lakeside atmosphere.

To make the day even more special, newlyweds stopped at the family vacation home overlooking Kangaroo Lake for photos. As a sweet ending to the gorgeous day, guests gathered at the outdoor ice cream parlor.
