"My wife and I just got married on November 8th, 2025 and our experience with Sound by Design was exceptional from start to finish. Our lead DJ, Mateo, was also our point of contact from the beginning, and he was the best to work with. His communication was super clear, he was incredibly prompt with responses, and incredibly knowledgeable. We received payment reminders that were so helpful to stay on top of that aspect and the cost for service was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. The night of the wedding could not have run more flawlessly. Mateo and his assistant absolutely killed it. The sound, emceeing, and lighting were all top tier. The one thing we wanted for our wedding was a bumping dance floor and my goodness did they deliver!! The dance floor was absolutely packed all night long (see attached photos). We could not have been happier with the experience of working with Mateo and Sound by Design, and if I had to do it all over again I would choose them every single time."

"We had the joy of working with Conner on the front end to get everything moving. After a few meetings we received Kyle Culver as the day of DJ. Kyle’s energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail was everything we needed to keep the party going all night. The day of, we did not have to worry as Kyle had his queues dialed up to the minute to keep us on track timewise. Music was a big part of our day as we wanted our guests to progress through the day through the use of music. We gave him the freedom, after sharing our songs, to set the scene and bring the energy for a real party. His on the go mixing made it feel like we were really at a set and he killed it. Friends and family, of all ages, commented to me on his craft. We were fortunate for sound by design and blessed to have Kyle bring the party for our big day. 10/10 couldn’t recommend Kyle any more than what was already said above! "We worked with Conner O'Malley for our wedding at the Atrium in Shorewood and he did an absolutely stellar job! Not only was his communication clear, fast, and organized leading up to the event, he also provided us with suggestions on music and it truly felt like a collaborative effort. On our wedding day, Conner made sure every aspect of the day ran smoothly, from our multiple processional songs (with specific time stamps!), to speeches, to announcements - everything ran perfectly and on time. And then there was the dance floor. WOW! Conner absolutely crushed it and our dance floor was packed the entire night. He used our playlist as a base and then played songs that aligned with the vibe on the dance floor. He even played a few latin/salsa songs which my Hispanic family LOVED. I truly felt like Conner took the time to get to know us, our backgrounds, and our goals and made our wedding absolutely unforgettable. Sound By Design also handled the majority of our decor - we rented draping, lighting, a photo booth, a champagne wall, etc. and they exceeded our expectations. The photos speak for themselves. I would 100% recommend Sound By Design!"
